The Demon Prince of Withergate, Darius is energetic and cocky. He openly challenges others to measure their worth. A party guy who takes control and chooses his friends carefully, he also values respect - so long as it's directed at him.
Personality
Darius is an arrogant Demon Prince, who's incredibly self-centered and believes himself to be invincible on some occasions. Upon meeting him, he treats the player awfully and attempts to kick them out of the city for being from Sun Haven. He despises the sun and the idea of having fun, reacting negatively to the player bringing it up towards him. Though he might seem lazy, Darius does take his role as the Crown Prince of Withergate seriously—more so than King Minos, his father. He demands respect from his subjects, and you.

Darius has one schedule that he follows rain or shine. Withergate Castle is accessible to the player all day (6AM - 12AM), and Darius's room is available from 8AM - 10PM.

Trivia
- Xyla is Darius' most trusted person. He personally recommended her for the role of Withergate's architect.
- Demons turn into stone when they die. Darius hopes to be forged into a sword when he dies.
- The sword Darius carries is forged from his grandfather's body.
- Darius doesn't wear his crown because he worries he's not actually fit to rule Withergate.
- It's implied by The Ancient Tome that Darius is the first baby born outside their native Witherrealm. It also states he was born very differently than what was expected. Demon's at the time apparently looked more like King Minos, so Darius' relatively 'human' appearance was the cause of major cultural anxiety & the belief the Prince was born too "soft" & may lack the strengths the Witherrealm so prized.
- This was likely not helped by the fact that Darius lacks both wings and a tail. He was also born without his horns (which came in later) so he would have indeed looked like a purple human (and, if demons are born without teeth, he wouldn't even have had his fangs)
- Players who consume a Prince Potion will transform their appearance into that of Darius.
History
- 1.1: Added marriage gift quests and rewards. Dialogue Cycle 9, 11 and 12 updated.
- 1.2: Swimsuit and Wedding sprites added to the game.
- 1.3: Unique gifting lines for ticket counterfeiter, ticket counterfeiter schematic, and Withergate workshop permit added to the game. Dialogue cycles updated, mostly P12 discussing Cream Soda.
- 1.4: Added a conversation around having a child, along with the wishing for a child event. Marriage ceremony updated, each RNPC now has a unique speech and vow dialogue.
- 1.7: Added Halloween festival bust portrait.
