Kai is a Naga who washes up on shore after a shipwreck prematurely ended his sea journey. He has no memories of his past or where he was sailing to. Kai is the only Naga in the game with four arms - it seems he comes from somewhere far from Sun Haven.

Kai will appear on the beach, just east of Peter's Fishing Store during Summer Year 1, or later. The player must wake them up.

Personality

Kai is very friendly and positive. Although he speaks formally, he's playful and excited about Sun Haven. He quickly makes friends in town and his favorite place is the Library. He often talks about interactions with people around town and new experiences since arriving.

Schedule

Kai has two schedules depending on if they are married to the player or not. If the player is not married to Kai, they have one schedule that they walk, regardless of weather. If the player is married to Kai, the schedule they walk is very similar, but it starts and ends at the players home.

  • Players who consume a Saltwater Potion will change their appearance into that of Kai.

  • 1.2: Romanceable NPC added to the game.
  • 1.2.2: Updates for various texts in conversation cycles 2, 4, 9, & P7.
  • 1.4: Added cycle 21 - a conversation around having a child, along with the wishing for a child event. Marriage ceremony updated, each RNPC now has a unique speech and vow dialogue.
  • 1.7: Added Halloween festival bust portrait.
