Mari is a resident of Sun Haven and the owner of the town's Tavern alongside her husband Ronald. Mari and her husband often make bets with each other in place of arguing, seeing it as healthier for their relationship. During the main quest line, if the player chooses to save the former bandit Stephen, they are both kind enough to let him work at the Tavern and provide him a room to live in.
Mari has light purple blue hair, wears a white shirt, and an apron around her waist.
Schedule
Mari currently has only one schedule that they follow, regardless if it is sunny or rainy.

Dialogue
Introduction
When speaking to Mari for the first time in a new game:
Well hello there, welcome on in. I'm Mari, and I'll be takin' good care of you today.
Player:
Hi Mari, I'm [Player]. I just moved in.
Then that must make you the farmer. Lucia made her rounds and gave us all a heads up. Glad to have ya in Sun Haven!

General Dialogue
General non-conversational dialogue between Mari and the player. If there is a seasonal token at the end of the dialogue, it means the player can only see that dialogue during that season.
:"Hey sweetie, don't forget to take some time off your feet today."
:"How's your day goin', hun? You gettin' by all right?"
:"Aren't you just a busy bee!"
:"When're you going to bring in some of those fresh farm goods so Ronald can whip up something fancy?"
:"Thanks for saying hi, hun. You sure you're not just doing that to stay on my good side? Either way, it's working!"

Good to see ya again, [Player]. What brings ya in today?
Player:
What are the people like at the inn?
:
These visitors, I tell ya. Baker's dozen, you know? For every twelve good donuts, you get that one weird donut. I keep 'em in line though.
Player:
I'm sure it helps that Ronald is here, too. -1 Points
:
Like I said, I got 'em under control.
Player:

You show 'em who's boss, Mari. +2 Points

Thanks doll, I can tell you'll be on my good side. Come by anytime, I'll be sure to take care of ya!
Player:
Your tavern is very cozy. There's an inn upstairs too?
:
Yup, travelers need a place to refuel and rest their sore behinds.
Player:
Sore behinds?
:
What do ya think they're sitting on for those long hours on horseback?
Player:
Do you get any travelers that have seen Withergate? Or is it just a rumor?
:
In this business, you never know what's true and what's not. Could be real stories, could just be a loon looking for some attention. Truth be told, I hope they're just rumors...

Cycle 2
:
Hey there sweetie-pie, what can we get ya today?
Player:
What's good to eat here, anyway?
:
Oh you can't make a wrong choice. Ronald and I make mean meals and refreshin' drinks, either way. Menu's up at the counter if your stomach's grumblin'.
Player:
It smells great in here, I'm sure the food is delicious.
:
Order up at the counter whenever you're ready, hun. And don't feel shy around the tip jar now!
Player:
Those drinks really do look good.
:
Well, order up at the counter whenever you're ready hun. We'll take care of ya, and don't feel shy around the tip jar now!
Player:
Actually, I was wondering how long you've run this tavern.
:
Oh you sweet thing, did you really come by just to chat? Bless your heart. Ronald and I renovated it... oh, must've been nearly twenty years ago now. Time sure flies!
Player:
No wonder it looks so old. -1 Points
:
Now [Player], you might be mistakin' that for a compliment but that's now how I'm takin' it...
Player:
You two have been incredibly successful! +2 Points

:
Don't sound so surprised, hun! You seen us here firsthand, workin' our magic.

Cycle 3

Look here, my newest favorite customer. Take a seat, [Player]. I want you to think of this place as your home away from home.
Player:
You're so hospitable Mari, I can't imagine anyone giving you trouble.
:
You'd be surprised then. There's always some troublemakers comin' through with the season.
Player:
Thank goodness they're only seasonal! +2 Points
:
Hah, seasonal! Yep, I guess that's right. All the good eggs stay right here in Sun Haven.
Player:
You just point them out to me, and I'll take care of them. -1 Points
:
I've been doin' that job for twenty years now. Believe you me, I can handle it.
Player:
Is it difficult running the inn upstairs?
:
The only difficulty is when squatters don't want to leave. I guess I can't blame 'em though. Our beds are mighty comfy!
Player:
How do you get them out?
:
One time we had to smoke 'em out of the room they were in. Usually we just use the keys, though.
Player:
Does that happen a lot?
:
Not a lot, but maybe once or twice a year. Only during the busy season, though. Which lately, there hasn't been much of any busy season.
