Catherine is Sun Haven's resident Amari witch. She owns the Farming Store where she sells rare seeds, fertilizer, and farming tools.

She also makes a number of potions and prescriptions for the town, almost acting as the town's pharmacist, to the point that Wornhardt trusts her enough to fill medicine orders.

Personality

Catherine is outspoken about her beliefs. She thinks herself the rock that keeps society grounded even if her ideas don't match up with others. As a Sun Haven native, she's warm, inviting, and cares deeply about the community.

Trivia

  • When Catherine was revealed in the kickstarter as a romance candidate; she did not have her rabbit ears.
  • Catherine loves snacking and always makes sure to have some food on hand for a quick bite - even storing it on her hat!
  • Her favourite season is Fall.
  • Catherine has a great love for plants and herbs and enjoys the feeling of dirt on her hands. If she was not a witch, she says she would most likely be a farmer.
  • Despite being a self-taught witch who can knit, grow magical plants, brew potions, create salves, cast spells, read fortunes, and divine the future... Catherine, by her own admission, cannot cook an edible meal.
  • According to Lucia, they both grew up together and are still good friends to this day.
  • Thanks to Claude, Catherine has picked up a taste in music, especially piano music, and says she often visits the Record Store each week.
  • Catherine considers Anne a friend, but thanks to the former's mischievous ways suspects Anne doesn't quite hold her in as high a regard.
  • She hates it when people pull on her ears, mistaking them for being a part of her hat.
  • Catherine has seven siblings! As a rabbit Amari herself, her mother birthed all eight of them in a single litter!
  • Players who consume a Witch Potion will transform their appearance into that of Catherine.

History

  • 1.1: Added marriage gift quests and rewards. Dialogue Cycle 6, 7 and 9 changed.
  • 1.2: Swimsuit and Wedding sprites added to the game.
  • 1.4: Added a conversation around having a child, along with the wishing for a child event. Marriage ceremony updated, each RNPC now has a unique speech and vow dialogue.
  • 1.7: Added Halloween festival bust portrait.
  • 2.0: Updated Seasonal and Wedding portraits to remove human ears.
