Stephen is a former bandit that the player can let into the town following the early events of the main scenario quest. He has promised to reform his ways and become a productive member of the town. If let back into the town (the player is given the option to choose whether he is exiled or not), he can be found in the Tavern.
Following his reform from banditry, he has had a change of heart. He has become appreciative of the townfolk who have been helping him, namely Mari and Ronald who took him in and offered work at the Tavern as well as a room upstairs for him to reside in. He is also grateful to the player for letting him have a second chance to redeem himself.
Stephen can be seen wearing a red hat and shirt, and has short brown hair.
Schedule
Stephen currently has only one schedule that they follow, regardless if it is sunny or rainy.
Quests
This NPC is not involved in any quests or collections.
Once specific relationship levels are reached, Stephen will send mail to the player which can be collected from the farm's mailbox.

I still remember that day on the bridge, the guards shackles tight around my wrists. I thought I'd be cozying up in a nice jail cell for... who knows how long. And I would have deserved it, too. But you told them, 'No, give this guy another chance'. But you didn't stop there. You came to the tavern and talked to me. You made me really feel like I belonged to Sun Haven. Trivia
- There are two Steam achievements associated with Stephen. "A second chance" will unlock when the player decides to give Stephen a second chance. "Justice" will unlock when the player sends Stephen to jail. Both achievements cannot be accomplished in a single save, they must be achieved on two different characters.
