Gorwin is the Elder and leader of Nel'Vari. Although Nel'Vari has been secluded for many years, Gorwin is very open and accepting of the player from the very beginning. He puts his full faith into Nivara, and trusts that she will not lead the Nel'Vari people astray. Gorwin is the mentor and teacher to Wesley, and works with the player to help turn Wesley's (and likely other isolationists) view on outsiders around.
Gorwin currently has only one schedule that they follow, regardless if it is sunny or rainy.

Relationship Level 5
It is I, your friend Gorwin. I've been watching you. Which has been remarkably easy, given the time we've spent together! But I digress. You are fitting into Nel'Vari marvelously. As well as any native, I would say. You have become an indispensable part of our community, and you are someone who I am happy to know as a friend. I hope you'll stay with us for a good long while, [Player].
General non-conversational dialogue between Gorwin and the player. If there is a seasonal token at the end of the dialogue, it means the player can only see that dialogue during that season.
:"As a leader, I guide my people toward a life of enrichment."
:"I try to be a fair leader, but it's Nivara who truly leads us into the future."
:"It feels like the forest gets smaller with each passing day."
:"One day, we will have to leave Nel'Vari. Hoho, but that day is far off."
:"Like the roots of the Grand Tree, our connection with the world is inseparable."
:"Ah, I can smell the scent of reawakened life on you. It must be spring in Sun Haven? "
:"Is it hot around here, or is it just me? Hohoho. "
:"The guardians tell me the soils are running dry. It must be summer. "
:"Hm? Oh, my apologies, [Player]. I was thinking about something just now. "
:"Perhaps I could go for a honeybrew, to quench my thirst. "
:"Warm winds blow in Nel'Vari. Sometimes a bit too warm for my liking, hoho. "
:"I can see the leaves of your Sun Haven forests change with the fall season. Truly a beautiful sight, hoho. "
:"The tree guardians seem to move a little slower in the fall. "
:"[Player], might I ask, have you ever partaken in roasted walnuts? Simpy delicious, hoho. "
:"Enjoying your stay in Nel'Vari? "
:"Nivara seems happier than usual, and yet I feel as if there is a burden weighing down on her... "
:"I saw snow, once. I'd like to see it again someday. "
:"Happy winter, [Player]! Hoho! "
:"What do you mean my laugh is perfect for winter? Hohoho! "
:"Nel'Vari stays mostly the same, even as the outside world continues to change and evolve. "
:"I feel tired today. Perhaps a nap is in order, hoho. "

Cycle 1
:
Ah, [Player]! Delighted to see you, my friend. How can I assist you today?
Player:
I'm curious about Nel'Vari's history.
:
To learn about our history, you need only learn the history of the Grand Tree. We've been with it since the first Elves stepped foot on these grounds. Yes, our origins are entwined with the tree like so many blooming vines, hoho!
Player:
So you're just tree people? -1 Points
:
It seems you think the same as so many outsiders in the past who have disregarded the tree as any old stump. Pity you can't see the world through my eyes.
Player:
No wonder it's such a revered monument. +2 Points
:
Indeed, and I'm glad you see it that way too. Outsiders in the past have disregarded the tree as any old stump. Only those who have taken the time to understand our people have also grasped the tree's importance. What I'm saying is, you have the spirit of a true Nel'Vari Elf! Hohoho!
Player:
I'm curious about the Nel'Vari Elves.
:
Ah, wonderful! But be careful [Player], if you become too comfortable here then you may never want to leave, hoho! I'm sure you know by now that there are different tribes of Elves, yes? Many Elves live a nomadic life in our world. Never settling, always moving. Nel'Vari Elves are different though, because we've been with the Grand Tree for the entire history of our civilization!
Player:
Do you think it's better this way?
:
I don't know that it's better, but it's certainly peaceful. Just ask any of our more curious kin who have wandered off into the forest. You'll learn that they always find their way back home. Life in Nel'Vari is sweet, what can I say? Hoho!
Player:
None of you have ever left?
:
Hoho, certainly a handful of our more curious kin have wandered off into the forest, but they find their way back home. Life in Nel'Vari is sweet, what can I say? Hoho!
