Claude is Sun Haven's reclusive genius. This musical prodigy came here to get distance from the Great City and focus only on his craft. He aims for perfection and can be sensitive about his work since his music is his mental retreat.
He is the sole resident of the large house north of Kitty's farm and enjoys the isolation, seeing it as beneficial for his work. However, he enjoys occasionally walking into town and interacting with the other residents from time to time - so long as they don't bother him too much.
Personality
Claude is a man who keeps to himself. He prefers solace and quiet contemplation, and thanks to this he lacks confidence when speaking to others, often seeming blunt and curt. When encouraged, he also expresses pessimistic doubts in his own ability to communicate and befriend.
He prefers to be alone, but once he starts talking to someone, he can also come across as somewhat of a melancholic musician type, musing about the changing of seasons and lamenting the difficulties he has had composing since his last great concerto years ago.

Claude has two schedules that he follows, depending on whether he is married to the player. Claude's House is available to the player from 8AM - 10PM.

Trivia
- Claude introduced Catherine to musical records and is the reason she began listening to them. The extent of their relationship is not known.
- He does not have any strong friendships in town. This is, naturally, the result of his avoidance of people.
- Even in Winter, Claude does not heat his whole house, despite having the funds to do so. This is because he does not have guests over enough to bother.
- The source of Claude's wealth is never stated outright.
- It is often hinted that Claude is not human, but it is never stated in the game.
- His bed is the shape of a coffin.
- Many of his favorite items resemble blood.
- His hated items are things typical vampires would not like (e.g. garlic, wood (stake), steak (play on stake), etc)
- If the player takes Vampire Potion they turn into Claude.
- Out of Claude's current two Bulletin Board quests, Claude's Craving pays better - despite only technically requiring one Tomato (and one Corn) versus the other quest asking for five!
- On top of the exorbitant sums of money his quests pay, minus Claude's unique Claude's Record quest, all of his quest rewards are items in gold and silver colors. If this results from a deliberate design choice, it may also explain why he rewards so much Exploration EXP... as a recluse.
- Speaking of money, Claude's House Key produces 400
for the player per day. Is this the source of his wealth? Or does the player steal from his house while he's not around? - Claude dislikes the heat of Summer, preferring the cooler months. He considers moving to the snowy Northern Regions one day.
- A Dev stated informally 'Claude secretly wishes he could compose a song for Kitty to sing but he’s too reclusive to bother asking.'

- 1.1: Added marriage gift quests and rewards. Dialogue Cycles 3, 9, 10, 11 13 and P11 updated
- 1.2: Swimsuit and Wedding sprites added to the game. Schedule updated.
- 1.4: Added cycle 19 - a conversation around having a child, along with the wishing for a child event. Marriage ceremony updated, each RNPC now has a unique speech and vow dialogue.
