Dr. Wornhardt is the town's only doctor. He is dutiful and dedicated to his profession and he runs the hospital where the protagonist revives should they faint due to being out past midnight or fall to 0 health. Wornhardt has medium length silver hair and wears a white doctor’s coat and white gloves.

He's by-the-book and disciplined as a doctor. Haunted by past mistakes, he's here for a fresh start having recently moved from the Southern Islands.

Personality

Wornhardt can sometimes be seen as aloof and distracted, however he explains that it is due to his dedication to his job. He also appreciates being able to take breaks when he can, preferring boredom over constant work.

Wornhardt has one schedule that he follows rain or shine. Wornhardt's House is accessible to the player 8AM - 8PM.

Wornhardt always wakes up in the hospital. When the player is married to Wornhardt, he does not often appear in his room at the farm.

Trivia

  • Wornhardt's mouse Charlie isn't a typical pet kept in a cage or enclosure, but lives in a mouse hole.
  • The cage in Wornhardt's house holds his lizard (unofficially named Lizard Charlie), who is never discussed when speaking to Wornhardt.
  • Wornhardt is a lover of fruit, often stating that it is the one thing he misses from the Southern Islands. However, giving him an apple will trigger a negative reaction from him and unlock the achievement "an apple a day..." the first time you do this.
  • He has been a resident of the town for about 1 year prior to the protagonist moving to Sun Haven. It is currently unknown if he is the town's first doctor or what happened to the previous doctor.
  • In his older portrait art, Wornhardt appears to have five fingers on his left hand before accounting for a thumb obscured from view.
  • Players who consume a Doctor Potion can change their appearance into that of Wornhardts.

History

  • 1.1: Added marriage gift quests and rewards. Dialogue Cycles 7, 10 and 11 changed.
  • 1.2: Swimsuit and Wedding sprites added to the game. Updated schedule.
  • 1.4: Added cycle 20 - a conversation around having a child, along with the wishing for a child event. Marriage ceremony updated, each RNPC now has a unique speech and vow dialogue.
  • 1.5: Wornhardt now gifts the player 3 Honey Glazed Apples instead of 1.
  • 1.7: Added Halloween festival bust portrait.
