The Small Mana Tome is an item that can be found in areas where monsters are present such as the West Forest on the road to Nel'Vari. Players who use the item can increase their maximum Mana permanently. A more potent version is the Large Mana Tome.

Due to their extreme usefulness during the early game, it is recommended that the player consumes mana tomes until they reach a comfortable level with their mana before gifting it to NPCs.

Players who invest into the Mining Skilltree can also unlock the Tomes of Mana skill which allows them to craft mana tomes with the use of their Anvil. By investing more points into the anvil the recipe costs are reduced by 15 or 30%. However the ingredients needed to craft a mana tome will change every day (aside from the 20 Mana needed to craft it)
