Alina is the only human the player encounters in the deep, and the player is one of the few "dry-landers" she has encountered.
Alina wears a purple wet suit with a bubble around her head, allowing her to breathe underwater. There is a green and yellow bird that has nested in her brown hair, that she didn't realize was there until the player points it out.
Alina currently has only one schedule that she follows, regardless if it is sunny or rainy. She will only appear after the player has completed the Dark Waters quest chain.

Dialogue
Introduction
When speaking to Alina for the first time in a new game:
Hey there, I'm Alina. Oh... Are you from the surface too? You're the first "dry-lander" I've met down here!
Player:
Oh, hey. I'm [Player], from Sun Haven.
I knew it, hehe. Us "dry-landers" stick out like sore thumbs down here. Take care of yourself, alright? The Deeps can be dangerous!
Player:
Yeah... I've noticed.
General Dialogue
General non-conversational dialogue between Alina and the player. If there is a token at the end of the dialogue, it means the player can only see that dialogue under those conditions.
:"Towns in The Deep aren't the most welcoming, especially to us "dry-landers", are they?"
:"The water's great today!"
:"I guess you could call me an airhead, heheh."
:"I've heard there's an underwater Naga city, though it's known only in legends. I'm gonna look for it!"
:"Watch out for sharks!"
Conversations
Cycle 1
:
Don't you just love the wonders of the deep? It makes all the dangers worth it!
Player:
Are you some sort of explorer?
:
Am I? I think of myself more like a... visitor? Though I technically do explore, so... I guess I'm an explorer!
Player:
Why explore The Deeps?
:
Oh, it's a funny story. When I was a little girl, my parents took me on a ship across the ocean. I was playing with some other children when the ship leaned sideways and I fell overboard.[]But before the crew on the ship had time to jump in after me, a Mermaid passed by and helped me back onto the ship! I mean... when does that happen?? I guess falling into the ocean would make some people deathly afraid of the ocean... For me, it was the beginning of a deep fascination.
Player:
There are safer places to explore, lady
:
Well, yeah. I know that. But I want to explore The Deeps!
Player:
That's an interesting bubble you've got on your head.
:
Do you like it? A dear friend of mine enchanted this bubble so that I could breathe underwater. Well, he was less of a "dear friend" and more like "an Elf I paid to enchant it for me"... But the point is that I can breathe underwater with this nifty bubble!
Player:
Aren't you afraid it will pop?
:
Well, it's true that the bubble may pop, but why would I let the possibility of disaster stop me from satisfying my curiosity? Besides, I'm not worried about that happening, anyways!
Player:
And what's the story behind the bird?
:
...Bird? What bird? What do you mean? I-is there a bird on my head?? Have I been sharing my bubble with a BIRD this whole time and I never realized it? Argh... That would explain why my hair has felt like a nest...
