Exploration

The exploration skill primarily focuses on player movement, logging, foraging, and community relationships. While skills like fishing, farming, mining and combat all have a primary focus on a single ability, the exploration skill more of the "catch all" for the remaining key parts of the game.

Some recipes for items will unlock as the player progresses through the skill, and reaches a certain level of that skill.

Equipment

Axe

The logging axe is the primary tool the player will use during logging. The player is first given the rusty Axe when they begin the game, and they are able to craft the higher level axes at the anvil. The player must have an Adamant Axe or higher to clear hardwood trees and the stumps on their farm. The player must have a Mithril Axe or higher to chop down elven hardwood trees.

Mounts

Main article: Mounts

Mounts have so special prerequisite to unlock, and all mounts have the same base-speed. The player can increase this base speed in tier 8 of the exploration skill tree, which can increase the speed of the mount by up to 12%. When the player first gets their mount, if they try to do any actions while riding they will be automatically dismounted. In tier 9 of the exploration skill tree, the player has the ability to unlock perfect Balance, which allows the player to use tools while mounted.
