Seasonal Pests

Seasonal pests are a common feature in farming simulation games, adding an element of challenge to crop management. These nuisances have the tendency to devour a player's crops if not adequately protected. In farming games, dealing with seasonal pests adds an extra layer of challenge to the gameplay experience. Players must employ strategic planning and resource management to mitigate the risks posed by these pesky invaders and ensure a bountiful harvest year-round.

Each season introduces a new pest, encouraging players to strategize and employ various scarecrows, to safeguard their harvest. Each scarecrow provides protection up to five squares in each of the cardinal directions for a total area of 11x11 squares, protecting up to 120 crops. When the player places a scarecrow, a light blue box will show the player the range protected by that scarecrow. Scarecrows can be bought from the Farming Store or crafted at the Farmer's Table.

The player can turn off seasonal pests in the options.
