Armor
Armor is a type of equipment that can be worn by the players. It will provide the player with defensive boosts, such as raising the players and values. Some armor pieces also increase other stats, such as . Armor is different to clothing, as clothing is only cosmetic and does not provide any stats to the player. Armor can also be worn in the cosmetic slots, but they will not provide their stats.
Armor exists in five categories: helmet, chestplate, gloves, leggings, and capes. Some items belong to a set, and will provide a set bonus if all items from that set are worn.
Armor Categories
Helmets
Helmets are armor items worn on the player's head. All amari ears, horns, halos, and other racial attributes on the player's head, are hidden beneath the helmet.
Chest Plates
Chest plates are armor items worn on the player's chest.
Gloves
Gloves can be either armor or clothing items.
Leggings
Legs or boots are armor items worn on the players lower body.
Capes
Unlike most of the other armor categories, the wiki does not have a different term for capes that are considered armor and capes that are considered clothing. However, like all other categories, capes that are considered clothing do not provide the player with any stats and are cosmetic only. The number of capes that provide the player with stats, are few compared to the amount of clothing-capes.
Similar to their clothing counterparts, armor-capes do not show some of the player's race-specific back attributes. Wings are hidden beneath the cape, but amari tails are not. The player does have the ability to turn off the appearance of the cape, while keeping the stats. The player can do this by selecting the toggle, which looks like a slider button, next to the cape slot between the equipment and cosmetic columns on the character screen. If the player turns off this toggle, it will remove the cape from view and show the race-specific attributes (where applicable).
