Tools

Tools are used to collect resources and cultivate the player's farm. They are an integral part and used for some everyday activities, such as farming and mining.

Players begin the game with a set of basic, rusty tools, provided on their day of arrival at Sun Haven by Anne. This set, however, is of lackluster quality, which requires the players to use crafting in order to craft tools of better quality by incorporating minerals such as Copper or Iron. Tools can also be bought; however, tools are costly, with their prices skyrocketing if the player wishes to obtain higher-tier tools (such as  Mithril Pickaxe).

Better hoes and watering cans perform their single actions at an increased speed. Better axes and pickaxes take fewer strikes to break down trees and stones and are also needed to break Hardwood and  Heavystone deposits. Each fishing rod has its own effect, as well as increasing the fishing skill. There are no penalties for use of a tool (they do not wear out or break).

In addition to their primary uses, tools are sometimes requested by NPCs for some quests. Tools can also be sold through any selling portal. The sale of mid-tier tools typically turns a profit, while the rarest tools tend to have comparatively low monetary returns.

Pickaxes

Enchanted pickaxes have bonus mining speed in Nel'Vari Mines. Enhanced pickaxes have bonus mining speed in Withergate Mines. Perfect pickaxes have bonus mining speed everywhere.
