The quest Jun's Town Beautification is a character quest that has the chance to be available anytime after Spring 3, year 1. The objective of this quest is to plant flowers in four different places around Sun Haven: near the General Store, the Tavern, the Hospital, and the bridge.

At certain times in the game, characters will have a Quest.png quest icon above their heads. These quests are classified as character quests, and are one-time quests given by that NPC. Generally these quests do not have time-limits, so the player is able to complete them at their leisure.

Steps

  1. Accept quest from Jun.
  2. Plant the flowers in the four locations around Sun Haven.
    Near the general store.
    Near the hospital.
    Near the bridge.
    Near the tavern.
  3. Turn in to Jun.

Description

The in-game description of this quest:

“Jun says that bright colors can help raise a person's mood. Plant bright flowers around town to test his theory!”

Walkthrough

When the player first accepts the quest from Jun, they will be given 4 flowers in their inventory. It does not matter in which order the player plants the flowers. The player will see little mounds of dirt they can interact with to plant the flowers.

  • The General Store flower can be planted to the left of the general store door.
  • The Hospital flower can be planted between the eastern and western doors.
  • The bridge flower can be planted on the east side of the bridge that leads towards the tavern. Located slightly west of Anne's pet lizard, Duke.
  • The Tavern flower can be planted to the left of the tavern door, to the right of the animals.

Pre-Quest

Jun's Town Beautification
Face Jun.png: [Player], I have a favor to ask you. I'd like to test a theory I read about. If all goes well, it could end up helping everyone in Sun Haven! Can you lend me a hand?
Player: What's the theory?
Face Jun.png: I read an article about how bright colors can help raise people's moods subconsciously. Just by being around brighter colors, several test subjects were seen to have improved moods over time.
Player: What do you need me to do?
Face Jun.png: I'd like you to take these flowers and plant them in specific places all around town. That way, everyone will see them and hopefully get a little happier over time.
Regardless of the above choice, the player is given the following choices after Jun's response:
Player: I'd love to help test the theory!
Face Jun.png: That's great! Take these four flower plants. Please plant them around town and find me when you're done!
Player: I'm too busy to help you.
Face Jun.png: I see. That's okay, I understand. If you happen to find yourself with some free time, come find me.

Post-Quest

Face Jun.png:"Wonderful, [Player]! Thanks for your help. I love finding new ways to raise people's spirits, so it means a lot to me. I know it's not much, but please accept this."
