This page lists the dates and events the player has with Miyeon. Each event will be available to the player for one in game hour. If the player misses one of the events they cannot re-do them.

Painting with Miyeon

This event will trigger daytime, outside of the Library. This event has the potential to trigger before the hang out event, but it can also be triggered later if the player hasn't walked by the library. Exact heart number is not currently known. When the event is over, the player will pick up Miyeon's Amateur Painting, and put it into their inventory.

Player:		Hey there, Miyeon.
:			Huh? O-oh, [Player], it's you. You startled me a bit. I almost knocked over my painting...
Player:		Your painting?
:			Yes... I've been thinking about trying my hand at it again. Jun was very kind and let me borrow some of his paints, and I thought the park would be a nice place to practice.
Player:			What are you painting?
Player:		HI MIYEON!!
:			Eep!! Oh dear, [Player]. You really startled me! I almost knocked over my painting...
Player:			Your painting?
:			Yes... This is my painting, in front of me. I've been thinking about trying my hand at it again. Jun was very kind and let me borrow some of his paints, and I thought the park would be a nice place to practice.
Player:		What are you painting?
:	I usually paint flowers, though Jun told me that I should try something outside of my 'comfort zone'. Something that catches my eye... So I'm trying to paint this fountain, but I'm not doing a good job... I think I should probably quit.
Player:		May I see it?
Player:		Shove over, I wanna see!
:	Um... sure....
You take a look at Miyeon's painting. She has a clear passion for the art, but her lack of practice definitely shows...
Player:		(Encourage Miyeon)
Player:			You know it's not the best painting, but Miyeon is trying! You pick out a few elements of the painting that you think work and encourage her to keep practicing.
:			Y-you really think so, XX? But the strokes are not correct...
Player:			You'll be a great painter someday.
:			It really means a lot that you say that, XX... Though I don't know if you're right. The truth is, my father doesn't approve of me spending time on my art. My father sent me to Jun today, to learn about studying to become a counselor.[]But, um, after me and Jun started talking... he suggested that I wasn't necessarily ready to think about a job, and that I should 'work on myself' first. So I wanted to give it a try...

Player:			Let's be real, it's kind of a bad painting. You're not rude about it, but you let Miyeon know that she has a long way to go if she's going to be a better painter.

:	Miyeon is destined for greatness. She needs to focus on that destiny, rather than wasting time on pointless hobbies. Or, it seems, hanging around with bad influences like you. Hm! Come along, Miyeon. It's best that you stay away from this farmer from now on.

Hangout Event

This event triggers from the cycle 8 conversation. Miyeon will ask the player to show up at her house the following day at 5pm.

:	I hope you like tea, [Player]. I've been brewing this all day. You won't believe it when you taste it!
Player:		A whole day?
Player:		A day of brewing seems very excessive for a cup of tea.
:		That's right! It's the perfect length of time to brew the tea. It's no ordinary tea, this is Angelic Cloudberry tea. The berries take a very long time to release their full flavor.

:	Angelic Cloudberry tea is considered a drink of bonding. If two people share a cup of it, it means they're truly able to bond and connect to each other.

:	H-Hello, Father. Mother. I um... I...
:	Your father told you to stop hanging around this farmer, Miyeon. Explain yourself.
:	I- I... I invited [Player] over, to have tea! I made enough for everyone, please, sit!

Miyeon accidentally drops the tea kettle, sending piping hot tea flying all over her father's lap. His already sour face tightens even more than usual... in anger, more than pain...

This event triggers from the cycle 11 conversation. Miyeon will ask the player to show up at her house the following day at 8pm.

Miyeon Date
:	Alright, [Player]. Are you ready?
Player:	Ready for... what?
:	Hehe... Just give me a moment to set everything up, okay?
Player:		Painting?
Player:		Hey, there's no paint on these paintings!
:		That's right! I had a talk with Jun... And he had a lot to counsel me on. Actually, it was mostly things I'd already heard from you, but hearing it from Jun helped reaffirm everything. He told me that I should give painting another try... And it's something I want to do with you, [Player]. I've got everything we need together already.
Player:	How will painting help you?
:	Because we haven't painted them yet, silly. I had a talk with Jun... And he had a lot to counsel me on. Actually, it was mostly things I'd already heard from you, but hearing it from Jun helped reaffirm everything. He told me that I should give painting another try... And it's something I want to do with you, [Player]. I've got everything we need together already.
Player:	How will painting help you?
:	Jun explained that painting is an art that doesn't require perfection. In fact, it's actually about making little mistakes. Mistakes make something unique, and are a deeper reflection of the artist. Because perfection isn't possible - you can only try to hide imperfection, but doing so isn't honest to yourself.
Player:		I think that makes sense.
Player:		Whoa man, that's like, deeeeep.
:		It made me uncomfortable to think about what he said. But then I thought about it. I want to be honest to myself, [Player]. I'm... tired of not being honest to myself.
Player:	Honest with yourself?
:	I don't want to do something just because my it's something that my father wants me to do. I love him, and my mother, too... But I want to live my own life, I think...
Player:		Let's get to painting - I want to see what you make!
Player:		Less talky, more painty.
:		Okay! I have a good idea of what I think I'm going to paint. No peeking while I'm working! What are you going to paint, [Player]?
Player:	Hmm, let me see...
:	The world is your canvas! Or at least, this canvas is your canvas. Paint whatever inspires you!?
Player:		Paint a picture of Sun Haven.
You paint a bird's eye view of Sun Haven. You try to include everyone from town, but most of them come out looking like smudges of messy color. That brown spot KINDA looks like Emmett, right? Still, you think your painting is pretty good. Maybe not perfect, but pretty good.
Player:		Paint a picture of your farm.
You paint a picture of your farm, trying to capture all of your decorations and house. It's hard to fit such a big farm on a little canvas, though. You decide to add that Weedil guy, but then realize that was a bad idea. Still, you think your painting is pretty good. Maybe not perfect, but pretty good.
Player:		Paint a sick picture of Elios, with cool flames all over.
You draw Elios, large and powerful. Coating him is a wreath of red flames as he stands triumphantly at the top of his mountain peak. Well, actually, it looks more like a weird dog smothered in ketchup. Still, you think your painting is pretty good. Maybe not perfect, but pretty good.
:	How is your painting coming along, [Player]?
Player:		I'm not half-bad at this!
Player:		It looks bad, but hey, whatever.
:	I... don't know how to feel about mine.
Player:	I'm sure your painting is fine.
:	N-no... it looks bad. I'm only learning how to paint, so of course it's not good. I'm just going to stop.
Player:		You can do it, Miyeon.
Player:		Hey, weren't you going to learn to accept your flaws?
:		... Um... Well... I mean...
Player:	You got this.
:	Okay, fine. I'll try and finish it...
Player:		You can do it, Miyeon.
Player:		Forget about all the imperfections. Just paint what you want to paint.
:		...T-there! I finished it! And it's okay that it doesn't look perfect! Because... I had fun painting it, right?
Player:		Can I see it?
Player:		Let's see what you painted!
:		Oh! Um, well, it's done, but... ...I don't want to show it to you!
Player:	Why not?
:	Well, not yet, anyways. I'm sorry! I'm too embarrassed! ...I'll make you a deal, though. I'll show you this painting, if...
Player:	If?
:	IF we get married someday.
Player:	Married?
:	...Yeah! That's right, [Player]. I don't think our relationship is there yet, but I think we could be that way, someday... If we get married, I will have married the love of my life... but if we don't get married, I won't have to show you my painting. So that way... I win either way!
Player:		Very clever.
:			I can be clever when I have to be, hehe...
Player:		I didn't know you could be so sneaky...
:			S-sneaky? I'm just being strategic, like my father tells me to be. Hehe.
Player:	Fine, I won't peek at what you painted.
:	Thank you. I like that you don't try to rush me. You give me time to figure out how I feel about things. It makes me feel... safe. Um, well, our paintings are done. I didn't exactly think about what we'd do afterwards. Oh no, now it's getting awkward, isn't it?
Player:		Let's just watch the stars together.
Player:		Stop worrying and look at the stars with me.
:		The stars?
:	Yeah... this is nice.
Player:		This is all we need, Miyeon.
Player:		Yeah, stars are pretty and it's FREE to look at them!
:	Hey, [Player]?

Late Night Event

To start the late night event, the player must have 15 hearts with Miyeon and visit Miyeon's House after she has gone home for the night.

Miyeon Late Night Cutscene
:	Oh, um, I'm sorry. This was unexpected... Not unwanted, of course. Just unexpected. M-my parents and brother are out of the house right now, too. So we... sort of have the house alone to ourselves.
Player:	A whole house to ourselves...
:	Well, not exactly. It would be rude to go through everyone else's rooms while they're gone.
Player:		We have everything we need right here, anyways.
Player:		Oh come on, let's make a mess of the house!
:		W-what is that supposed to mean, [Player]? What do we have? Are you sure you don't need anything else...?
Player:		What more do I need than you?
Player:		Some drinks wouldn't hurt, but you're more than enough by yourself.
:		No, no, my parents would be so angry if that happened, you can't... W-why are you smiling? Were you fooling with me?? Oh, don't do that...
Player:		You're cute when you're nervous.
Player:		Sorry, you make it too easy.
:		Well, since you're here... and we're alone, maybe... Um...
Player:	Yeah? What is it?
:	Miyeon, her face completely red, attempts to kiss you. She misses at first, before you help guide her lips to yours.
:	Um... Did I do that right? I hope I did, [Player], because... Because I love you.
Miyeon can't stand the embarrassment and gets up to make you both some tea. You pretend to thumb through a boring research journal before she finally returns. You and Miyeon share the empty house, the tea is especially lovely - but maybe not more so than your hostess herself... Some time passes, and Miyeon, cuddled against your shoulder, nearly falls right to sleep when she's suddenly spooked by the sound of her parents at the front door. She anxiously ushers you out of the house - through her bedroom window!

Marriage

Pre-Ceremony

:	This is the happiest day of my life!
Player:		I can't wait to start our lives together. (This starts the ceremony.)
Player:		I want to meet with our guests a bit longer.

Ceremony

:	Quiet, please! Thank you. Now, let us begin. We gather here in order to celebrate the sacred bond between two radiant beings - [Player] and Miyeon, our resident Angel. Today they join together as one and enter into this most intimate commitment. In marriage, they will find comfort and safety as they journey through a life made more beautiful by their love. To our soon-to-be-wed, I say this: make not a bond of love, but let your love carry you as the sea carries a ship, and let your happiness show as clear and visible as a white sail filled with wind. Miyeon, would you like to say a few words before the exchanging of vows?
:	When I was a little girl, living in the Heavenscape... I would look up at the Everbeyond and I would try and count the twinkles. It was... very foolish and childish, but a friend had told me, that if I managed to count every sparkling sigil, that I would meet my true love. ...I never managed to count every twinkle of light, of course, but I know now that I was lucky enough to not need to. I've found my true love, and with their help I feel like I'm finally seeing the world in a different, more hopeful way. I'm finally eager for the future, instead of fearful.
:	Well spoken! So do you, Miyeon, take [Player] to be your wedded partner?
:	[Player]... I feel like I've been lost for so long. Everything in my life has been clouded with uncertainty and doubt. But then you found me, XX. You became a light in the darkness. The Everbeyond can keep its endless sea of stars, XX. B-because... Because I have the brightest star of all! ...I do!
:	And now, [Player], I ask: Do you take Miyeon to be your wedded partner?
Player:		I do.
:			Miyeon, [Player], before these witnesses you have pledged to be joined in marriage. With the power granted to me by the officiating office of the Great City, I hereby declare you joined in matrimony. You may now seal this ceremony with a kiss!
Player:		I do not. (This will end the ceremony.)
:			Oh dear! This is ... very, very unfortunate.And awkward! Emmett, quickly... take everything down, get the guests out of here... ((Emmett, quickly! Pour the memory loss potion in the punch bowl... Make sure everyone has a drink before they leave... No one will have to remember a thing...)) ...Oh, um, excuse me, everyone! Let's all have some refreshments before we leave...!

Post-Ceremony

If the player talks to the various NPCs after the main ceremony, they will have different responses congratulating the player on their marriage.

:"It seems like just yesterday I was barging through your door for the first time... Now look at you!"

:"This is such a beautiful wedding, I told myself I wouldn't cry, but..."

:"Congratulations on the marriage. I couldn't imagine standing up in front of everyone and getting married like that."

:"So this is how they celebrate marriage in the Human town... Consider me unimpressed."

:"Hey, good job on getting married. Hope you have lots of happy years together, and all that. So is there going to be any food, or..."

:"This is so different from an Elven wedding... Oh - still nice though!"

:"Oh, [Player]. I'm so happy for you! If you ever need any advice, you know where to go."

:"Fantastic ceremony! The love in the air is practically palpable."

:"Congratulations, congratulations! You make such a cute cute couple, nya!"

:"Emma and Elizabeth weren't too bothersome during the ceremony, were they? They were both so excited, they wouldn't stop fidgeting... Oh, and congratulations!"

:"Watching two of Sun Haven's citizens joined in matrimony is truly heartwarming. Congratulations, [Player]."

:"May your marriage be as beautiful and eternal as the moon!"

:"This is the biggest wedding I've ever been seen. It seems like half the town is here!"

:"Don't worry, I was on alert through the whole ceremony."

:"This is the start of a union between you and yours, [Player]. May it be a blessed and happy one."

:"Human ceremonies are so much more practical than Elven ones. It's funny how our cultures differ, even in celebration."

:"That's it? No one is even going to start a fight? Boooring."

:"Is that the end of the ceremony? Hm."

:"What a wonderful ceremony! It's good to have nice things like this to focus on. It's not just a special day for you, you know. The whole town is celebrating."

:"Well, [Player]. Here's to happy years with the person of your dreams."

:"You finally tied the knot, [Player]! I hope you have a happy marriage!"

:"Don't worry about the chairs, I'll gather them all up."

:"Looks like you landed the big fish!"

:"Days like this remind us what it means to be part of a community."

:"The best thing about marriage? Permanent workout partner! Hm, when is the last time Giuseppe joined me on a jog..."

:"Tonya ran a marathon the day after our wedding... I slept in."

:"Farmer! Are you going to have a baby now??"

:"Hello, farmer! Liam told us to say congratulations...... Congratulations!!"

:"Can we play games now?"

:"Do I have to get married like this someday, too?"

:"Here's to many happy years together!"
