Skills
There are currently 5 skill trees: exploration, farming, mining, combat, and fishing. Skills can be unlocked with skill points that are gained through increasing each skill's corresponding experience level. Within the skill trees, the player can also unlock spells and abilities that allow the player to take different actions in the game.
Skills provide permanent stat boosts or enhance existing abilities for the player. While one passive skill may not seem like a huge improvement, in the long run they make a big difference in the gameplay. Each skill type can be leveled up to level seventy (70) and then further increased with the use of elixirs or crafted skill tomes. Every level gained in a particular skill type awards one skill point that can be spent in the corresponding skill tree.
The skills in each tree are categorized into 10 tiers (tiers I - X), with only the skills in tier I being available to players initially. To unlock skills in the subsequent tiers, a certain number of skill points must be spent in the tree before the next tiers' skills can be accessed.

Most skills within the skill trees have an associated rank. Initially, all ranked skills start at rank zero, and with each skill point spent, their rank increases by 1. The differences between each rank of the skill can be found within its description as attributes (often numbers) separated by slashes ("/"). For example, a skill which "Increases movement speed by 4/6/8%." would increase speed by 4% at rank 1, 6% at rank 2, and 8% at rank 3.
Bonuses from passive skills are stackable. For example, unlocking multiple bonus movement speed passives will stack up, so +8% from Hustle I and +5% from Hustle II adds up to a total of 13% bonus movement speed.
Global Skills are skills that only apply once during Multiplayer gameplay. If more than one player unlocks the same skill, it does not stack.
