Griffons can be very stubborn and proud. Gaining the favor of one could result in a lifelong friend.

This Griffon is the fast travel between the Sun Haven Farm and the Nel'Vari Farm. Once unlocked, the Griffon will be in the north-western corner of the player's Sun Haven Farm, and the north-eastern corner of the players Nel'Vari farm. The Griffon will carry the player between these two places between 6:00 and 20:00 for the cost of 1  Berry per trip. If the player wishes to travel after 20:00, they will need to walk.

The Griffon is unlocked during the main quest line A New Home, where the player must befriend the Griffon. The player must choose the correct dialogue sequence to earn the Griffon's friendship.

Schedule

Griffon currently has only one schedule that they follow, regardless if it is sunny or rainy.

06:00	Appears at either of the two nesting locations: North-West corner of the Sun Haven Farm and North-East corner of the Nel'Vari farm.
20:00	Goes to sleep, player can no longer use their services.

This conversation with the Griffon takes place during "A New Home". The player must choose the correct sequence inorder to earn the griffons trust.

"(The griffon completely ignores your presence, save for a subtle glance. It seems it certainly recognizes that you're there)"

"(You flash a wide, happy smile. The griffon snorts at you. Maybe it thought you were being aggressive? At any rate, at least you got a reaction out of it.)"

"(Plucking a ripe berry from a nearby tree, you offer it to the griffon. The griffon sniffs at the berry with interest, but seems reluctant to take it.)"
