Crop Infobox

Use {{Agriculture infobox}}. Crops only have the itemType classification. Additional crop categories are set by region.

Summary

This section should not have a header, so it will come before the TOC. It should provide general crop and seed information to the user. The {{Tillers tip calculations}} template should only be used with crops that provide that bonus.

'''CROPNAME''' is a [[Crops#REGION_Crops|REGION crop]], that is [[Farming|harvested]] from SEED NAME. This crop can be planted in all seasons and they take '''NUMBER OF DAYS''' until the crop can be harvested. A single plant yields '''NUMBER OF CROPS''' on average. The player gains {{EXP|Farming|EXP#}} experience for each crop harvested.

A single unit of the wheat crop sells for a base price of {{Currency|SELL CURRENCY|SELL PRICE}}. {{Tillers tip calculations|SELL PRICE}}

Growth

Growth stages has been broken down into two sections, stages of the crop while growing, and a growth calendar to help the player plan their crop planting schedule. Growth should be a H2 header on the page, at the top of the growth section.

Growth Stages

Use the {{GrowthStages}} template to display the stages the seed goes through until it is a full grown crop.

Growth Calendar

Use the {{Crop calendar}} template to display a calendar and when the different stages change. If the crop does not automatically regrow, the following text should be placed before the calendar template -

This calendar assumes the player is planting the crop on the first day of the season, seasonal hazards do not delay the growth, and the player is replanting a new crop the same day the previous crop is harvested.

If the crop regrows automatically during that section, this text should be used -

This calendar assumes the player is planting the crop on the first day of the season and seasonal hazards do not delay the growth.

Acquisition

The acquisition H2 should only have text under it if there is a unique way to acquire this item. If it is listed in any of the other sections, nothing will go here.

Purchased From

This should be the first sub-section of Acquisition. This should have a H3 header.
Use {{Shop availability}}, with a pipe and the name of the crop, then a duplicate template for the seed. Most crops cannot be bought, which will result in a text line that says as much, then flow right into the seed information.
For more information on how the DPL works, check out our DPL basics page.

===Purchased From===
{{Shop availability|CROP NAME}}
{{Shop availability|SEED NAME}}

Crafting

This should be the second sub-section of Acquisition. This should have a H3 header. Crops themselves cannot be crafted, but the seeds can.

Since this wiki has the crops and seeds combined, the editor should put the see recipe information in. The editor should use the {{Recipe}} template to display that information. Ensure that any categories that are created on the page called "uses..." have {{Category uses}} on the category page. This will only happen if one of the ingredients for this item isn't already used somewhere else. For more information on how the DPL works, check out our DPL basics page.

===Crafting===
{{Recipe
|recipesource =
|workbench    =
|ingredients  =
|time         =
|product      = SEED NAME
|yield        = 2 }}

Dropped By

This should be the third sub-section of Acquisition. This should have a H3 header.
Lists out what monsters/other items drop this item. Use the {{Item as drop}} template, which will automatically pull names of NPC/Monsters that drop that particular item, or its seed. For more information on how the DPL works, check out our DPL basics page.

===Dropped By===
{{Item as drop|CROP NAME|or=SEED NAME}}

Item Uses

Use {{Item as Ingredient}}. This template automatically pulls items that have this item as an ingredient, as long as the recipes are on the page using {{Recipe}}. Put the crop and seed name in the same template, separated by a semicolon (;). For more information on how the DPL works, check out our DPL basics page.

==Item Uses==
This crop or seed can be used as ingredients in the following crafting recipes:
{{Item as Ingredient|CROP NAME;SEED NAME}}

Gifting to NPCs

This should be the first sub-section of Gifting. This should have a H3 header.
Use the {{Gifted item}} template. The "universal" will list every RNPC that isn't elsewhere in the template, and should be placed in the category that relates to the "hearts" data point. Any RNPC's who have a different gifting preference should have their name in capital letters, and separated with a semi-colon (;).

Similar to the item uses section, we will separate the crop and seed gifting preferences.

===Gifting to NPCs===

|-|Seed=

|like    =
|neutral = universal
|dislike =

</tabber>

Gifted From

This should be the second sub-section of Gifting. This should have a H3 header.
If the player does not get this item, it is displayed in a single bullet list with the following text:

===Gifted From===
* The player does not currently get this item from any NPC.

If the player does get this item from an NPC, it should be a bulleted list with which item (crop or seed), how the item is acquired, who its from, and what relationship level to get the item.

(Quest) Requires

Use the {{Quest requires item}}, which uses a DPL query to pull in quests that are tagged as requiring that item to complete the objective. This template will pull quests that require the crop or the seed to complete the task.

==Quests==
===Requires===
{{Quest requires item|CROP NAME|or=SEED NAME}}

(Quest) Rewards

Use the {{Quest rewards item}}, which uses a DPL query to pull in quests that are tagged as rewarding that item once the player has completed the objective. This template will pull quests that require the crop or the seed rewarded from the task.

===Rewards===
{{Quest rewards item|CROP NAME|or=SEED NAME}}

Media

Any appearance in videos, illustrations, or other official media should be added in the Gallery section.

==Media==
<gallery widths="200" bordercolor="transparent" spacing="small" captionalign="center">
</gallery>
  • For Portraits, videos, and other official media, the widths should be 200.
  • For sprites the widths should be 100.

Trivia

Each trivia item should start with a bullet. * It should not be things that are elsewhere in the article.

==Trivia==

Change History

The {{History}} template is used here.

==History==
{{History|<!--Version Number-->|<!--What was changed-->}}

NavBox

The {{Crop navbox}} should be used at the bottom of each crop page.
