The quest Combat Training is a character quest that the player will pick up when they first begin the game. The player will get a mail telling them about training sessions. This is where the player will get the basics of combat training, and their first skill tome.

At certain times in the game, characters will have a quest icon above their heads. These quests are classified as character quests, and are one-time quests given by that NPC. Generally these quests do not have time-limits, so the player is able to complete them at their leisure. This particular request is unique, as its not given from speaking with the NPC, but given from a mail from the NPC.
