Pet Festival

The Pet Festival is an event that takes place on the 7th of Summer. To attend this festival, the player must talk to Bernard in the town center any time after 12:00pm on the day of the festival. Be sure to do any farming, general upkeep, or inventory emptying before taking to Bernard, as the player will be returned to their farm at 11:00pm when leaving the festival. Speak to Bernard again during the event to leave.
Events
Pet Race
The event begins by the player, and the three other contestants drawing a number from a hat. The numbers are one through four, the first number gets first pick at the eggs, whomever picks two will get second choice, the character who picks three will get the third choice, and whoever picks four will be left with whatever egg wasn't chosen. The player will always draw the number one. The player will then be able to choose which egg they want. Each egg has its own description when the player interacts with it.
"The egg's shell seems oddly dense, though when you tap on it you hear a distinct chatter from inside, like something is fighting to break free." - Will give the player Blitz.
"The egg's shell seems cold to the touch, despite the intense heat it was subjected to only moments ago. It wiggles slightly at the warmth of your hand." - Will give the player Zipps.
"The egg's shell is strangely like leather, as if it comes from an environment where high heat is frequent. You hear scratching from inside." - Will give the player Dashie.
"The egg's shell is unlike any mundane shell you've ever seen. It gives off a distinct hint of mana, and shakes now and again." - Will give the player Miles.
Once all eggs have been chosen, they will hatch. This is the pet the player will participate in the race with. In order to race their pet to the finish line, the player will need to be in sync with their pet. By using exact commands, the player's pet will run down to the finish line as quick as it can. But if the player makes a mistake, their pet might stop in its tracks.
